About Me
I have always
wanted to plan events, specifically weddings.
Event planning is a genuine passion of mine. I started out in college planning events for friends and family whenever the
opportunity arose and loved the experience! Graduating in 2005 with a B.S. in Psychology and a double major in Spanish, I quickly found the great opportunity to work at a full
service hotel in Delaware. I
planned corporate events and took that opportunity to learn everything about social
events as well. All in all, I planned over 500 corporate events
ranging from small to large and worked on at least 60 weddings, the largest of
which hosted 300 plus guests! Unfortunately the large amount of events at the hotel made it difficult
to receive 100% effort from every person involved and for this reason, I decided
to pursue event planning independently.
I left the
hotel for an admissions position but was continually asked by friends for help
planning their events and weddings. My name also spread through former colleagues and I planned various events and weddings in my free time while sustaining my admissions position. This was the
best experience for me because I was given a chance to take my hotel skills to
a whole new level and take full responsibility of every step in the
planning. After successfully planning weddings and other events independently, I decided to pursue this full time.
Currently in my 8th year of overall planning and my 4th year of wedding planning, my goal is simple. I want to help people enjoy their events, from childrens parties to weddings, by using my organizational skills and my experience. The complimentary meeting allows my clients to give me their ideas and let me deliver the perfect day to start the rest of their lives. I
have great expertise in creating amazing events on a tight budget and I have
found creativity always finds the best solutions. My services ensure the day runs smoothly, so
